A group of kids are squatting an abandoned house in the middle of Copenhagen. They are the new generation of the anti-fascist and anti-adult movement called Børnemagt (Childrens Power). They fight the inequality of laws towards kids, and fight for a permanent free space for kids in Copenhagen. By occupying old buildings, demonstrating and posting it on Instagram and Facebook, they believe they are fighting a fight for all kids across Denmark. The goal is to determine their own life and influence the laws of the country, so kids can be free. After only five days the police finds the new occupied building, Børnehuset (Kids House), and uses seven hours to clear out the kids.
The building is owned by the municipality, but has been empty for years. In the few days they had the place, they were constantly planning what to do when the police shows up. Which songs to sing, which door to barricade and who brings food and blankets.
